Eligibility, Fees & Application

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should be a full-time employee of an educational institution
The applicants working in self-financing colleges are also eligible
The applicant should have a post graduate degree in life sciences, pharma or biotechnology
The applicant should have at least a second class Master’s Degree with a minimum 55%
The applicant should be teaching Biotechnology/ Life Science/ Pharmacy Programs in a College/ University
The applicant should have at least 1 year of teaching experience on the date of submission of the application

Program Fee

Biocon Academy is committed to affordability and greater access in life sciences education; hence we are subsidising the Biocon Academy Faculty Development Program course fee by 55%.

Course Fee: Rs 10,000 (Inclusive of all Taxes)

Facilities

At Biocon Academy, the candidates go through a rigorous training so that by the time their course comes to an end, they are updated with industry specific trends and application know-how. For the benefit of the candidates, we assist them with a couple of facilities to ensure they just focus on the training.

Transport

We understand that commuting to different locations for industry training can get challenging especially when candidates have to arrange for it themselves. Therefore, for security and hassle-free commuting, we are providing transportation facilities from Biocon Academy to Biocon Labs/Facilities. Candidates are requested to adhere to the timings for availing the service.

Meals

Throughout the course, Biocon Academy candidates are provided with nutritious and sumptuous lunch. Besides, they have access to beverage vending machines for tea, coffee and milk.

Accommodation

Candidates come to pursue studies at Biocon Academy from different parts of the country and upon their request, we provide options of nearby paying guests and hostel accommodations based on the previous students’ choices. Kindly note that candidates alone are responsible for any decision taken regarding their stay.
